Dr. Sanjay Mittal is a senior cardiologist with over three decades of experience in clinical cardiology, research, and teaching. He completed his MBBS (1982) and MD in Medicine (1991) from LLRM Medical College, Meerut, followed by a DM in Cardiology from King George Medical College, Lucknow (1994). He began his career at Escorts Heart Institute and is currently the Senior Director of Clinical Cardiology and Research at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram, a position he has held for the past 10 years.Dr. Mittal leads the Heart Failure Program, Non-Invasive Cardiology, and Clinical Research initiatives at Medanta and also serves as Director of the Medanta Duke Research Institute. He has received advanced training at leading international institutions, including Columbia Presbyterian Hospital (New York) and New England Medical Center (Boston). A prolific academic, he has authored over 50 publications, delivered 200+ lectures, conducted clinical trials, and trained numerous postgraduate students. He is an active member of several national and international cardiology societies.
