Dr. Dibya Jyoti Mahakul is a highly accomplished neurosurgeon with exceptional academic credentials and extensive international training. He began his medical journey with an ICMR scholarship at MKCG Medical College and went on to complete postgraduate training at PGIMER, Chandigarh, followed by an MCh in Neurosurgery from AIIMS, New Delhi — one of the country’s premier institutes.To further refine his expertise, he trained internationally as a Research Scholar at the Barrow Neurological Institute, USA, and completed advanced fellowships in Neuro-Oncosurgery (New Delhi), Skull Base Surgery (Japan), and Neuro-Intervention (Seoul). His clinical interests span complex brain tumors, skull base disorders, and minimally invasive neurovascular procedures. In addition to his surgical work, Dr. Mahakul has numerous scientific publications and is actively involved in academic teaching, as well as organizing national conferences and neurosurgical workshops, contributing to the advancement of neurosurgery in India.
