Dr Bharat Gopal is a senior Pulmonologist with over 25 years of experience in respiratory medicine, critical care, and interventional pulmonology. A pioneer of EBUS and cryobiopsy techniques in India, he has trained at global institutions including the University of Ancona, Asan Medical Centre (Seoul), and Royal Brisbane Hospital (Australia). He has been a key contributor to multiple national guidelines on Asthma, COPD, bronchoscopy and community-acquired pneumonia. Dr Gopal has authored over 30 scientific publications and textbook chapters and has trained hundreds of doctors across India as the founder of the "Pulmo-Pathshala" series. He is actively involved in academic leadership and interventional pulmonology training programmes across the country and internationally. He is a Fellow of multiple prestigious societies, both Indian and international, and has been honoured with numerous academic and leadership awards.
